[Recovering a Bricked UM3/S3/S5]

You are my heros gr5 and CarloK!

 

Bricked my UM3 caused by an faulty patch by Bondtech for Bondtech QR feeder.

Um3 looped at startup and never finished booting.

 

File recovery-5.2.1120190503.img provided by CarloK brougt my UM3 back to life.

After Wifi-Setup another update was done by Air.

Everything fine now, also afterwards putty patch for Bondtech QR extruder Steps and speed.

(if you dont see appdata you need to show hidden files in that folder.)

 

now go into local and delete cura folder
then go into roaming and delete cura folder.

relaunch your program and it should work.

Hello

Registered me for this "fatal error".

Exactly same thing on my side.

 

Till Cura 4.3.0 everything went fine.

 

Since Cura 4.4.0 exactly same error messages like first post image

and cura won't start and closes.

 

My System similar to Post 1

Win10Pro 1809

I7-8700 CPU @3,2Ghz

16GB Ram

Nvidea GeForce GTX 1060 3GB

Newest Driver for Grafics 

Newest Phyton 3.8 - also reinstall of complete Phyton 3.5 did not fix the fatal error
