[Ultimaker S3 making a snap pop in the Y axis]

SOLVED!  I was able to track the popping noise to the short belt connected to the Y axis motor, I could feel a little vibration in the belt when it popped.  I loosened up the 4 screws that hold the motor in place and re-tightened them and it fixed the problem.  Might have just been slightly loose??  the screws didnt feel loose....

You can also move the print head manually (without printing). This way it is easier to get to the bottom of the problem.

.. the block in the front is unhooked.

.. a belt wheel turns loose on the shaft.

I have a brand new S3 and it makes a snap pop noise in the Y axis, the timing appears to match one full rotation of the pulley gear It is hard to tell which side it is coming from.
