Now, Cura runs, but does not recognize my printer at all (definitions provided by Goofoo) They are saying it's because Cura doesn't fully support the M1 chip yet, based of the M1 issues I've heard, that doesn't seem right.
I think they're just blaming Ultimaker for their faulty hardware.

Hi I'm a complete amateur user.
I have a CHEAP 3D printer called Goofoo Cube.
I'm also on a Mac with an M1 chip.
Now, Cura runs, but does not recognize my printer at all (definitions provided by Goofoo) They are saying it's because Cura doesn't fully support the M1 chip yet, based of the M1 issues I've heard, that doesn't seem right.
I think they're just blaming Ultimaker for their faulty hardware.
I would welcome any thoughts.
