Oh sorry no that was not what I meant. I only re-soldered the wires to the connector pins. I soldered them to the correct points but I switched the two connectors. So I connected one of the fans to the sensor and shield plug.

So I didn't have to re-re-solder them ^v^"

For me it was the sensor and shield wires not connected properly. I removed them earlier because I had to re-solder them due to a failure before. I switched them around and now the printer works fine again. (This was on an Ultimaker 3 by the way)
