Dear Cura Support Team,
I am writing to report an issue I’ve encountered while using your software. When attempting to save a sliced object as G-code, I receive the following error message:
unsupported operand type(s) for +: 'float' and 'NoneType'
This error prevents me from successfully saving the G-code file, which is a critical step in my 3D printing workflow.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Open the STL file in Cura.
- Adjust the necessary print settings.
- Slice the model.
- Attempt to save the G-code file.
Expected Result: The G-code file should save without any errors.
Actual Result: The error message appears, and the file does not save.
I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps without success:
- Ensuring all settings are correct and do not contain unusual values.
- Checking if the issue is model-specific or related to a particular setting.
- Updating Cura to the latest version.
- Resetting configuration files and reinstalling Cura.
I am currently using Cura version 5.7.0, and my operating system is Windows11. I would appreciate any guidance or assistance you can provide to resolve this issue.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Best regards, Peter Loeb
