[What does this go to?]

I too was wondering what this was as it was included in my kit. I figured it was to calibrate the axes, but need a better explanation as to how. Does anyone have a set procedure they can post for reference? Thank you.

As I anxiously await my Ultimaker - I am truly excited. I've been reading the forums, wiki, and studying assembly guides. To keep myself distracted for now, I've been testing different paints and stains as to which colors I'll use prior to assembling. With that being said, can someone give me some pointers on the following:

- How attentive should I be to stains or paints effecting the build in terms of tolerances, axes, and fits? Should I try to avoid painting holes using tape, etc? What effect will this have should I paint everything? I'll probably only do the main frame of the Ultimaker with a stain or paint. Any tricks or tips are greatly appreciated!

- Also, has anyone tried to paint or stain the Ulticontroller? Would you reccomend holding off on the controler until I get used to printing direct from software?

Obviously more questions to come as I progress but thought this would be a good start! Thanks in advance!
