Hi, Thanks for all the clues... I just don't understand because under cura 15.04.5 i still have PronterFaceUI and even the option to turn it on and off in the preference menu... And of course i have under the speed and temperature section (3rd) i have "printing temperature and under, Bed Temperature. If i understand with Cura 2.1 i have to select the material on the machine and cannot change it if i Print with USB? I almost never print with SD card and never have a problem :( I would be sad to plug in and out the little thing for each print i have to do... Thanks anyway for all the info

Hi guys, I'm currently trying to use Cura 2.1 which is really attractive at first, but when the time has come to print, i've been facing some problems: I have not found a way to activate under the material settings the Temperature of the nozzle, nor the bed (i'm printing on an Ulti 2). Also i cannot tell cura what kind of material i'm using (PLA). I must have missed something and after reading all the troubleshooting and guide ♫ i still haven't found what i'm looking for (!)♪ Another thing annoying to me is that PronterFace Ui seems to have disappeared, is there something to replace it or this "printing" window cannot be customized anymore? Thanks all! P.S. (Certainly not a Cura Thing, but my ULTI 2 has its Motherboard Fan constantly activated, even when there is no pending Printing, can i change that ? Because my Extended is not making any sound when iddle...)

Bonjour à tous, Le problème étant résolu je partage avec vous la solution ici, En fait le connecteur de l'extruder était en train de mourir, un des pin n'était pas tout à fait rompu et le signal était donc de mauvaise qualité. Vu que de base nous en avons deux pour une éventuelle deuxième tête d'extrusion, nous avons échangé les deux connecteur. L'imprimante remarche parfaitement et la courbe de température ne fait plus de yoyo car la chauffe est désormais de nouveau stable. Merci pour les réponses et le support!

Thanks for the info, i had read this kind of soultion but it doesn't work. Merci pour l'info mais ça ne marche pas, j'ai essayé sur plusieurs ordi et depuis plusieurs ports USb et prises de courant. J'attends une réponse du SAV et si elle est concluante je partagerais ici.

Bonjour à tous, je suis Camille Le Josne, je fais partie du FabLab de Caen et nous possédons quelques machines dont une Ultimaker qui a un peu plus d'un an, sans ulticontroller. Je parcours ce forum depuis un bon moment et d'habitude els problèmes que je rencontre trouvent assez vite une solution. Cette fois-ci cependant je ne comprends pas ce qui se passe. Lors d'une impression d'environ deux heures et après une première tout à fait réussie, la machine s’arrête désormais brutalement de façon assez aléatoire avec le message d'erreur suivant: Extruder switched. Et la connexion avec l'ordi est perdue, il faut reconnecter. Après avoir fait le tour des problèmes "connus" j'en viens à ne plus savoir que faire, je pense re-générer un fichier 3D car d'autres modèles (mais plus courts à imprimer) passent bien sur la bécane. La courbe de température n'est pas stable non plus sur le moniteur, nous venons de changer la sonde car nous en avions une d'avance mais le problème ne semble pas venir de là. Le moteur d'extrusion semble chauffer beaucoup et vue la nature du message d'erreur je me demande si cela ne vient pas de lui, en bref, pas mal de questions et malheureusement pas de réponse évidente, si quelqu'un a rencontré le même problème, je suis preneur de tout renseignement!
