    bestes ABS Filament zum Aceton abdampfen?

    Also soweit ich das als Nichtchemiker verstehe, ist es eben KEIN Aceton sondern Ethyl acetate...

    Aceton reagiert wenn dann nur seehr minimal auf PLA (zumindest bei meinen bisherigen Versuchen).

    Hatte es letztens mit ABS versucht und bin echt begeistert.. Man muss das Aceton nicht mal erhitzen, sondern einfach das gedruckte Objekt zusammen mit einem acetongetränkten Tuch in einen geschlossenen Behälter.. dauert dann halt ein paar Stunden aber man behält etwas kontrolle.

    Man kann das Objekt auch etwas früher aus dem behälter nehmen (vorsicht: klebrig und weich ) da es noch etwas nachreagiert.

    Hatte irgendein noname ABS verwendet. Ich denke das spielt keine grosse Rolle.

    Als nächstes wollte ich es mit "Formfutura EasyFil HIPS" versuchen, da es hoffentlich etwas einfacher zu drucken ist und wohl auch mit Aceton reagiert...

    Hoffe ich konnte helfen ...

    So here is what I was working on the last few weeks.

    I wanted to pick the character theme and bring them together with the slogan of every page.

    I´m not the guy who´s fluently in english, so the descriptions are a bit short.I hope the pictures speak mostly for them selves ;)

    The pictures should be seen as mockups, so some details are missing in this stage and are planned for further steps.

    HOME:

    The Idea of this page was not only to show the Ultimaker together with a beaver (both are makers and build things) I also wanted to show the love into the machine.That´s why the beaver carved a heart into the trunk and by putted the printer onto a socle like in a museum or in a art-gallery.

    I wanted to show the variety of pritable objects and the love into them. So the girl ist printing out all her toys but in the end she´s hugging a big ultirobot because the Ultimaker is the machine which makes all this possible.

    This page should show the claim „ make it yours“ in a double-sense. On the one hand the dog uses the printed tolls and clapboards to rebuild it on the other hand in a home for himself.

    A sloth is an easy-going smart animal and an Ultimaker makes his life even easier, so I thought it would be very funny to bring both together on one page.

    The clever turtle uses the supereasy cura to build a new shell. This demonstrates the usability and the cleverness of curausers.

    The chameleon can take on any colour, so it shows best the variety of the different materials you can print with an ultimaker. The goal is to print it in different colours and the tongue in PLA Flex

    Ultimaker Hero Design Contest

    So here are my ideas of "heroes" for the Hero Design Contest.

    I thought it would be fun to explore the animal-creature-theme a bit more...

    Each animal stands for one page.

    Maybe some of them will come together with small items ( the worm could sit on the mushroom, the bear could get some bees or the rabbit will have a carrot)

    To show how the models should look at the end, I started to sculpt the first of them.

    It´s designed in several parts.

    So the eyes, arms and legs are movable, which makes it more flexible and interactive.

     

    I´m looking forward for some comments.

     

     

    Ultimaker 2 oder Original Plus?

    Hi,

    also wie ich das verstehe, ist der Ultimaker+ KEIN komplett überarbeiteter Ultimaker original, sondern genau der, wobei er nun ein Heizbett samt 3-Punkt-levelling-system besitzt (Beides in meinen Augen die Kernfeatures des Ultimaker2).

    Ich besitzt seit knapp 2 Jahren einen auf Heizbett und 3-punkt umgerüstetetn original und bin seeeehr zufrieden.

    Der Vorteil ist, das durch den zusammenbau die Zurückhaltung vor eigenen Umbauten schwindet und man so die Druckqualität noch um einiges steigern kann (z.B. Direktantrieb, GT2 Zahnräder und Riemen...).

    Was Leider immer noch sehr stört, ist die Lautstärke, die durch die Resonanz des Holzrahmens und vorallem durch den sehr lauten elektroniklüfter (austauschbar) entsteht.

    Mein Fazit: Meiner meinung nach gibt sich die Qalität beider Druckern (vorallem duch Nachrüstung) nicht viel, Geschwindigkeit dürfte in etwa gleich sein mit leichtem Plus mein Ultimaker2 ( Vorsicht 300mm/s druckt wohl keiner, wenn die Qualität stimmen soll, liegt die Geschwindigkeit wohl eher bei 40-70 mm/s ) und wenn man den Drucker nicht im Wohnzimmer stehen haben will, Ist man mit dem Original+ wohl sehr gut Beraten ( oder man wartet wie ich, bis irgendwann die Nummer 3 -hoffentlich mit direct-extruder- auf den Markt kommt ;) )

    Hi maggiman,

    In cura 14.07 findest du unter "advanced" die "initial layer thickness". Wenn deine Plattform gut eingestellt ist, kannst du den Wert heruntersetzen. Auch könnest du theoretisch bei "Initial layer line with" ein paar Prozente runtergehen..

    Kann dann aber passieren, dass dein Objekt nicht mehr so gut haftet.. Würde es vorsichtshalber erstmal an kleineren Objekten testen.

    Ich kann da nur GLOWBUG-YELLOW von Faberdashery empfehlen... Wa bislang das beste Material überhaupt... Ich drucke mitlerweile fast alles mit dem Zeug. ist zwar ein bisschen teurer als die anderen Materialien aber es lohnt sich wirklich...

    Direktantrieb bedeutet, dass die Motoren direkt mittels Wellenkupplung ( z.B.http://fabber-parts.de/shop/index.php?a=143)%20mit%20den%20Achsen%20verbunden%20werden.%20Somit%20fallen%20die%20kurzen%20Zahnriemen%20weg.,

    mit den Achsen verbunden werden. Somit fallen die kurzen Zahnriemen weg.,

    Wenn die Gleitlager schlecht laufen,würde ich mal schauen,ob die Achsen verbogen sind... Etwas Öl könnte auch helfen.

    Hi Eddie,

    das Problem mit den Rundungen und der Schwergängigkeit der Achsen kommt sehr wahrscheinlich daher, dass deine Riehmen nicht richtig gespannt sind,bzw,deine Achsen nicht 100%ig rechtwinklig zu einander ausgerichtet sind.

    Du solltest deine Zahnräder nochmal lösen,Zahnriemenspanner

    Auch solltest du die kurzen Zahnriemen an den Motoren auf Spannung überprüfen.

    Direct Drive Welle Schweiz

    ich hab mir einfach eine welle bei conrad gekauft.Man benötigt eh nur eine, da man für die kürzere Seite,die längere Ultimakerwelle nehmen kann. Absägen kannst du die Wellen von Hand, da sie auf einer Seite ein wenig überstehen können (wenn es einen nicht stört) und somit die genauigkeit keine ganz so grosse Rolle spielt.

    Sind bei mir aber ab und an beim Zahnriemenspannen gebrochen und hab sie dann wieder demontiert. Werde demnächst auch die Twister Blocks montieren.

    hi wolfram,

    das 1,75 mm filament geht leider nicht. ist definitiv zu dünn.dafür benötigst du ein anderes system aus extruder und düse.
