Thanks for this! I just bought an Arduino Due and connected it to my pc but it wouldn't get recognized both by Ubuntu and Windows and then I read your comment about the cable. The cable I used was brand new so I thought it would be good, guess it wasn't.. So I tried another one and it worked. Thanks!
