Existing file prints fine (pre-15.1 gcode file). Made some minor adjustmets to the supports in the print with Cura 15.2 and now i'm getting some overlap on some of the edges.

Tried re-leveling and reloading filament but still prints the same.

Take a look at the picture at the link below.

    Settings-

    Layer height: 0.15

    Shell thinkness: 2.0

    Bottom/Top Thickness: 1.2

    Fill Density: 20

    Print Speed: 40

  2. Think I fixed the problem.

    • Changed Layer Height from 0.20 to 0.15
    • Changed Print Speed from 35 to 40

I was originally printing in two parts but I was worried about durability. The tip on the top slides into a belt clip. Never thought of putting threads on it!

Also having some issue getting Cura to print the parts separately even though "Print one at a time" is check.

  3. You can create a Process and call on it anytime you need it. Processes are the same as the settings within Cura but you don't have to load a profile from somewhere else on your computer. it's saved in Simplified3d.

    It's a really neat feature.

  4. I am working on a project that i'm printing an octagon and i'm using the follow settings:

    Layer Height: 0.20

    Shell Thickness .8

    Bottom/Top Thickness: .8

    Fill Density: 25%

    Print Speed: 35

    Bed Temp: 62

    Nozzle Temp: 205

    Support Type: Touching Buildplate

    Lines

    90 degree

    15% infill

    X/Y Distance: 0.5

    Z Distance: 0.15

The problem that i'm having in that the first layer that prints over the support material is stringy.

What could help me solve this issue?
