  1. Hello, I have a 3D model which I have processed in Blender to remove doubles, triangulate, recalculate normals and export to STL. The STL file imports just fine in CURA and in normal view looks perfect, but when I switch to layer view, and indeed actually print it, the print is missing out part of the base. If you look at the images below you will see what I mean. Look at the crown and how the middle section isn't fully printed. The top part of the image shows the model in normal view and the bottom two show the layer view. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions on how I can fix this?
  2. Hey guys, We recently bought an Ultimaker 2 Extended and I'm slowly getting to grips with it. I'm using Sketchup for modelling and importing a DAE file into CURA. I'm currently trying to print what I'm describing as a slightly tapered plastic bung. In Sketchup it's a completely hollow object, as it's meant to be. See - http://snag.gy/YdsvQ.jpg But when I import the file into CURA, when I browse through the various layers I can see that the middle area is being filled when it shouldn't be. See - http://snag.gy/bMWIw.jpg Any suggestions as to what I might be doing wrong or what's going wrong?
