Good Afternoon Guys. I have exactly the same question. I have a UM v2.1.1 controller board. not built into the printer jet (work in progress). I can easily get a 100k thermistor, but a PT100 B is a bit harder to source all the way down in South Africa. And ALLOT cheaper. This thread explains that you need to use: https://ultimaker.com/en/community/11425-e3d-thermocouple-mount-on-umo- ...but why cant you just connect the 100k directly onto the board where you would connect the PT100 B and adapt Marlin accordingly.
