  1. My company got a UM2 about 6 months ago and I noticed that the axes needed to be lubricated. So I bought some sewing machine oil and applied that to the x and y axes connected to the pulleys (not to the bars connected to the print head because I saw that somewhere). I also lubricated the z-axis. I knew it needed to be lubricated because it was making more noise than usual. But even after lubricating the axes it still makes more noise than I thought it should. Mainly when it is moving diagonally and more often when it is moving slower, on the first couple layers. Am I actually supposed to lubricate the beams attached to the print head as well? A link to a video I took to help show it. Sorry the sound isn't that great, but you can hear a difference between diagonal and not for sure. http://tinyurl.com/jobynfg Thanks, James
