New to Cura but old (really old) to GCode. I've got a project that involves what you could call a "Stacked Layer Cake". Essentially, it is a collection of decreasing cylinders on top of each other created in both Blender and TurboCad.
I've used both Cura and Slicr3 but they insist on painting in the top / bottom layers of each cylinder instead of optimizing the run and eliminating the internal surfaces. Sort of like this:
GCode Optimization for Stacked Cylinders

Hi All,
New to Cura but old (really old) to GCode.
-------------
xxxxxxx
-------------
------------------
xxxxxxxxxx
------------------
Instead of this:
-------------
xxxxxxx
xxxxxxxxxx
------------------
Any ideas on how to resolve this?
