Hi I know this post is a few months old but I am new to 3d printing so I decided to get a Monoprice Select mini. I have nothing to compare it to but it is an amazing machine and I have been doing quite a lot of printing with it (see sample) and it is operating very well. Next I am planning on getting a Ultimaker Original + kit and after I build it I will make comparisons. http://danfenelon.com/3d-prints
