Has anybody tried "glass beading" shot blasting the glass plate to assist in first layer adhesion.?
One side only incase it does not work.

Just to reduce the surface area and increase the pressure between the filament and the glass.
It would give any gasses or air bubbles from the hot filament a place to escape, as opposed to lifting from a flat surface.
