I just bought a used Ultimaker Original plus to learn about 3D printers and hoping someone can help with a few growing pains. When I go to start a print the filament gets pulled back from the print head about 12" then slowly feeds back to the print head. The printer starts moving but it will be at least 2 minutes before the filament has been feed back to the print head missing the start of laying a good base. The other question is when I go to level bed through Cura I found the Z axis on the machine has been moved down 3mm so I need to bring it back to zero in the lcd display on the machine. Is this normal. Thanks in advanced for any help
