So then Cura 3.6 won't have a firmware update above 3.3.0?

The reason I was trying to run the update in the first place, is because the extruder remains on top of the print after it's done, with the nozzle and bed temperature running causing fillament to ooze over the print.

For some reason my Ultimaker 2+ firmware will not update. The following are steps I have tried: 1.Switching cables 2.Using a different computer 3.Doing a Factory reset 4.Rolling back my Cura software to 3.3.1 and 3.4.0 It seems to initiate the update, the Ultimaker even turns of after the update completes, but when I check it on the machine it's still at 3.3.0
