Hi, This is my first post here so apologies if this is the wrong place or if this has been covered before! I've been experimenting with adaptive layers and have noticed that layers are a bit unpredictable because they start at the set initial_layer_height regardless of the adaptive settings. Because variation_step_size limits the rate of change you get interesting results, such as with the attached image showing a 45 degree triangle printed at 0.3 baseline, 0.2 first layer, 1mm max variation, 0.001 step size and 600 threshold. Should the calculation not be applied to the first layer too, or alternatively ignore the variation_step_size limit when starting the second layer? Also a bit confusing is that layer_height appears to be in micrometers: layer_height = threshold * tan(min_layer_angle) For a 45 degree slope, layer_height = threshold = 600 which presumably should be 0.6mm?
