  1. My computer is a laptop with an Nvidia Quadro 2000M, i7-2820QM, 16 GB of ram, running Windows 10 pro. Compatibility mode seems to have solved it. I can manipulate the model at full framerate now. Only noticeable difference I see is that the layers only buffer when I move the slider slowly or pause but it doesn't feel like it's lagging anymore. Is that just how compatibility mode works?
  2. So I've been using Cura 4.1 for several months now and everything has been great. Recently however I've noticed a serious drop in performance after slicing a model and switching to preview. Rotating the view drops the framerate incredibly low and changing the layer level has a lag of several seconds. This all started very suddenly without any significant changes to my computer that I'm aware of. I tried updating to 4.2 but it was still performing the same way. I tried resetting to factory settings as well but the issue still persists. The problems get worse the larger the model is. Also if I reduce the visible layers in preview performance picks up again to useable levels. It's as if the program is maxing on memory but my system has 16 gb and task manager never shows cura using above 500 mb. Has anyone dealt with something similar?
