Recently, I got a bunch of melted filament jammed around one of the print cores. I wasn’t careful enough removing it and I destroyed the print core. Also, now the door won’t stay closed. I like to think I’m pretty handy so I should be able to fix it. But I can’t see anything wrong with it. Should there be a latch that holds it in place or just the magnets? For now I have to tape it shut but I miss having my printer look like the well-sorted machine that it is (was!). Thank you

I'd like to know about this too. Any success?

So how DO we use Adaptive Layers Topography Size?
Definition in Cura says "Target horizontal distance between two adjacent layers. Reducing this setting causes thinner layers to be used to bring the edges of the layers closer together."
How are there adjacent layers horizontally? I thought there was only one layer at each Z height? I'm doing multi-color printing with UM3 but wasn't familiar with this way of talking about it.
Thanks!
UM3 printhead door falls open won’t stay shut. How to fix?

Thanks a lot! Yes that worked. I was bending side to side but didn't think of bending that way.
