  1. After careful investigation, it was determined that the problem was not in the software, but in the hardware. The limit switch for the X axis needed attention. After some maintenance, the printer is again functioning normally. Thanks for the pointer anyway. Alan, W6LSu
  2. I am using Cura as my slicing program. Every Gcode file evidently has a missing instruction that is supposed to send all axis to the home position. Y and Z axis works find but the X axis always starts from whatever position it was left at. Examination of the Gcode shows a G28 instruction and the line: "G1 X10.1 Y20 Z0.28 F5000.0 ;Move to start position". Is this correct? ham3
