I've opened an STL file in cura which shows correctly but when slice'd there are hexagons on the top which are missing in the preview? This is also translated to the exported gcode file? I've tried turn off all settings and infill to check the preview but the parts are still missing. Size of the item is 100mm x 100mm x 24m height File was originally made in SketchUp and the group has a volume.
