  1. hello, so i want to print this airfoil for a turbine and i am printing it into two pieces because the blade is too big for my printing space and so i divided into male and female slots. i made the model in solidworks and converted into stl. so i provided both stl files for the female and male slots and their .3mf files. for the male slot, it can be printed and sliced but i cant seem to get a reason why the female slot cannot be printed. can you check my files whether there is something that i need to do?? im not entirely sure since 3d printing is relatively new to me s1223 blade half female slot.STL s1223 blade half male slot.STL CCR20_s1223 blade half female slot.3mf CCR20_s1223 blade half male slot.3mf
  2. Hello, I am quite new to 3d printing. I mean I have used UP Studio before to 3D print but not to the extent that I needed to use support structures before as much as this one. The project I am doing is on a turbine and I am printing the blades. I split the blade into two parts using slic3r and tried to check how many grams I need of my filament to print one complete set of 3 blades. I placed the half-blade into a Creality Ender 3 Pro and sliced it. But there were no support structures? That does not make any sense to me because the blade is overhanging and when I check the preview, there weren't any sort of support. When I changed the support structure to tree then it properly shows it. I don't really know how to make any sense out of this, hope there is someone that can help me out on how to efficiently 3D print this half-blade.test.3mftest.3mftest.3mftest.3mftest.3mftest.3mf test1.stl test.3mf
