  1. Thank you very much Thomas, you are most definitely right. To answer your question - indeed - it would be great to be able to adjust that angle, especially for those cases where (1) support is printed with no walls (only infill) to emulate rectilinear supports and (2) prints do not have a relatively very large height - as 40° imposes a lot of material to be printed for relatively large bases, while you might want that diameter to reduce quickly. This is assuming most print support solidity efficiency is given by support plate adhesion. I would like to take advantage of your kindness and experitse to ask a further question. When dealing with wall/perimeter quality settings you might have noticed that often times, walls are not printed subsequently (inner wall+outer wall immediately after) as it usually prints inner wall first, then infill (or other), then outer wall, creating quality issues with the outer wall given that the toolhead must retract and travel towards the starting point of the outer perimeter (while of course you would want the walls to be printed one immediately after the other, with no unnecessary travel in between). When deselecting "infill before walls" this issue is partially solved as the toolhead won't travel back and forth between infill and perimeter BUT when another "isalnd" is outside or inside the area enclosed by the perimeter (for example when your model is designed to have a hole inside of it) it often times prints the inner walls of the main object and the island first, then the outer walls, creating the quality issue described above, caused by toolhead travel before outer wall execution. Is there a way to *force* all wall's print order as: "PRINT INNER AND OUTER WALL SUBSEQUENTLY"? If there is no current solution to this, I have found it to be the slicing defect that most penalizes print quality. I would love to hear what you think. ATB
  2. In the Cura 5.6 release, slope parameter (applied to base width) has been added to prime pillars to make them more sturdy. Can this feature be abblied to tree supports as well?
