  1. Thanks. Turns out the jam went all the way up the metal inside the core... I had to remove the head, and heat gun the core while sawing it apart with a steak knife... got a new core to replace it.
  2. My class had a printer jam that caused PLA to push and wrap above the print head and heater block on core 1, (Ultimaker S5) On removal (pre heated the head and pulled the block off) the wires connecting the heater core to the control panel dislodged. There is still plastic above the heater core, preventing it from releasing / raising for removal. I told the slicer to disable core 1 and print only on core 2, but the displaced wires cause ER31 errors when I try to print. Can I configure the printer to ignore core 1 for the time being, or do I have to do something more drastic?
