For anyone visiting this topic looking for the solution/setting this is what I did, following the all3dp instructions, but measuring at the end of them bowden tube (cutting the filament flush):
- m503 => E282.00
- G1 E100 F100 => 72mm
- 282 / 72 = 3.9166 => new value for E in printer profile = 390
- G1 E100 F100 => 103mm
- 390 / 102 = 3.8235 => new value for E in printer profile = 380
Measuring at the bowden end, is a bit less accurate since there is about 1mm play in it, but it is much more convenient when the machine is loaded with black PLA.

I don't seem to be able to create a proper bill of materials, all linefeeds seem to be removed.
This (https://www.youmagine.com/designs/low-friction-um2-spoolholder-endcap#!design-materials):
The endcap:

Do you have a link to that test print objects, gr5?

Eldrick, thanks. But are there any drawbacks from using RepRap instead of UltiGCode?

I'm still trying different settings, but am already using the following printed fan duct, which improved the print on the right side significantly:

Furthermore I'm using cheap hairspray to keep the print fixated on the glass bed.

If a problem with the insulator is handled by the firmware or slicer, than it probably would increase the amount of warranty claims by people using custom firmwares and slicers. Which would be not so good publicity, in a place (the internet) where people start complaining after waiting for 6 week and 4 hours on a product with a 6-8 week lead time...

Isn't this a bit backwards? Why would one want to remove the convenience of the ability of storing temperature settings from within the slicer? Now, with Cura, it is impossible for prints, which need special temperatures, to be stored within the file.
Does the same apply for the bed temperature, is that also adjustable from within non-cura gcode?

Ziflex has something similar, which fits near perfect:
