I'we had the same problem with the green grease. I have used /sprayed WD-40 on the 4 rods and on the z-axes spiral and cleaned all of with an clean cloth. Repeat the WD-40 process several times and always use a clean cloth. WD-40 does not lubricate for a long period – so I have applied some fine oil afterwards. It still works fine... even after a 4-week pause. But you will need to check your X & Y rods – that they can’t move back and forth when the printer head shifts direction.
