  1. Hey xenon, I can always go for the 100% and then scale appropriately in 15.04, but the 15.6 was way off of anything I could figure out. Thanks for the feedback. I can get different orders of magnitude depending on the size of the part or assembly, but like you said, it is easy to adjust when it's a multiple of 10. Clear Dark Skies, Bird
  2. Hey, I create full scale aerospace vehicles in Pro/E (Creo) on my Mac running Windows 7 through VMware. I output an STL file and Cura is giving me different scales when imported. First preferred option is Cura on my Mac. The STL files there come in at different orders of magnitude. No big deal. I just scale with orders of 10 to get the proper finished scale. I'm only able to get Cura 15.04 running. (Cura 15.6.1 terminates itself.) The second less preferred option is to run on the Windows side with Cura 15.6.1. That at least runs, but when I import the STL file, Cura picks a random scale. It isn't a function mm vs. inch or anything that I can define, yet. When I select RESET with the SCALE function it doesn't make any difference. Any ideas? For now I'm staying with 15.04 running on my Mac, and staying the heck away from 15.6.1 on either platform. I've been 3D printing on other machines for a little over a year, MakerBots, and now on an Ultimaker 2 Extended. I love the machine, but am looking at better software options. This is the first time I've heard or seen the random import scaling that won't even let me reset to the actual size in the software. Clear Dark Skies, Bird
  3. Hey nallath, I'm clueless. I'll just run the older version until a software person has issues with the new version and can properly communicate with you. Clear Dark Skies, Bird
  4. Hey nallath, Is this a log file? From Console I cleared the display and then tried to open the new Cura and got this: Marker - Jul 6, 2015 4:05:15 PM Jul 6 16:05:40 LASLA40027341 Cura[11809]: Cura Error Jul 6 16:05:47 LASLA40027341 Cura[11809]: Traceback (most recent call last): Jul 6 16:05:47 LASLA40027341 Cura[11809]: File "/Applications/Cura/Cura_new_dead.app/Contents/Resources/__boot__.py", line 77, in Jul 6 16:05:47 LASLA40027341 Cura[11809]: _run() Jul 6 16:05:47 LASLA40027341 Cura[11809]: File "/Applications/Cura/Cura_new_dead.app/Contents/Resources/__boot__.py", line 62, in _run Jul 6 16:05:47 LASLA40027341 Cura[11809]: exec(compile(source, path, 'exec'), globals(), globals()) Jul 6 16:05:47 LASLA40027341 Cura[11809]: File "/Applications/Cura/Cura_new_dead.app/Contents/Resources/cura_app.py", line 6, in Jul 6 16:05:47 LASLA40027341 Cura[11809]: import cura.CuraApplication Jul 6 16:05:47 LASLA40027341 Cura[11809]: File "cura/CuraApplication.pyc", line 4, in Jul 6 16:05:47 LASLA40027341 Cura[11809]: File "UM/Qt/QtApplication.pyc", line 15, in Jul 6 16:05:47 LASLA40027341 Cura[11809]: File "UM/Application.pyc", line 4, in Jul 6 16:05:47 LASLA40027341 Cura[11809]: File "UM/Controller.pyc", line 6, in Jul 6 16:05:47 LASLA40027341 Cura[11809]: File "UM/Tool.pyc", line 7, in Jul 6 16:05:47 LASLA40027341 Cura[11809]: File "UM/Scene/Selection.pyc", line 5, in Jul 6 16:05:47 LASLA40027341 Cura[11809]: File "UM/Math/Vector.pyc", line 4, in Jul 6 16:05:47 LASLA40027341 Cura[11809]: File "/Applications/Cura/Cura_new_dead.app/Contents/Resources/lib/python3.4/numpy/__init__.py", line 187, in Jul 6 16:05:47 LASLA40027341 Cura[11809]: from . import fft Jul 6 16:05:47 LASLA40027341 Cura[11809]: File "/Applications/Cura/Cura_new_dead.app/Contents/Resources/lib/python3.4/numpy/fft/__init__.py", line 6, in Jul 6 16:05:47 LASLA40027341 Cura[11809]: from .fftpack import * Jul 6 16:05:47 LASLA40027341 Cura[11809]: File "/Applications/Cura/Cura_new_dead.app/Contents/Resources/lib/python3.4/numpy/fft/fftpack.py", line 40, in Jul 6 16:05:47 LASLA40027341 Cura[11809]: from . import fftpack_lite as fftpack Jul 6 16:05:47 LASLA40027341 Cura[11809]: ImportError: dlopen(/Applications/Cura/Cura_new_dead.app/Contents/Resources/lib/python3.4/numpy/fft/fftpack_lite.so, 2): Symbol not found: ___sincos_stret Jul 6 16:05:47 LASLA40027341 Cura[11809]: Referenced from: /Applications/Cura/Cura_new_dead.app/Contents/Resources/lib/python3.4/numpy/fft/fftpack_lite.so Jul 6 16:05:47 LASLA40027341 Cura[11809]: Expected in: /usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib Jul 6 16:05:47 LASLA40027341 Cura[11809]: in /Applications/Cura/Cura_new_dead.app/Contents/Resources/lib/python3.4/numpy/fft/fftpack_lite.so Jul 6 16:05:47 LASLA40027341 com.apple.launchd.peruser.311931414[417] ([0x0-0x1ab1ab].org.pythonmac.unspecified.Cura[11809]): Exited with code: 255 Is this what you were looking for?
