  1. I'm not around my computer, so I can't pull the file with the exact information. As soon as I can, I'll reply with the settings. Changing settings within ultimaker (print speed, extrusion and flow) do nothing to solve my problem, nor does printing any parts of any size that I've successfully printed before yield better results. Whatever the problem is, it seems to have nothing to do with what I can change in the Gcode (otherwise the other things I tried to print would have come out like they did before). Now, this thing was used heavily for a few weeks, then all projects were put in hold, so
  2. Hey guys, I've been having an issue with my work's Ultimaker 2 extended. I've been trying to print these small cylinders (about half an inch tall with a cross-hatch on the inside). What has me worried is the grinding sound, which only seems to happen after I print a few layers. I've uploaded an image here. As you can see, the one on the left is roughly what it should be, but there's a weird spiraling pattern happening. The second one was the very next print... I don't even know why those gaps are there on the sides of the cylinder. I tried to unclog the tip, tighten any axis screw I could,
  3. Yeah, it works fabulously when I print via SD card. I guess I'll just have to wait until USB printing becomes more stable.
  4. Hey guys, I'm in the middle of a project for work. I need to get 50 things done in 3 days or less, and this thing is slow as molasses. I cranked up the speed to 200%, it's been 10 minutes and I've had no problems, but it's still pretty slow. What is the maximum printing speed you guys recommend I not exceed?
  5. Here's where I found some premade GCode files: https://www.lulzbot.com/support/mini-cura-profiles
  6. Hey all, I'm having an extrusion issue with this Ultimaker 2 Extended. The filament seems to be grinding, and the only way I can get anything to extrude is if I push the filament into the feeder... hard. First I tried to adjust the little bolt which changes the feeder tension. The white lever was already all the way at the top (indicating it was at its loosest setting), but it was still adjustable. I tried turning it in either direction to find the tension indicator does not move. I cleaned out the feeder mechanism (to find lots of ground up ABS), and ended up taking it apart and putting it
  7. I figured out how to solve this. I downloaded someone else's GCode settings and applied them. It's still a bit wonky, but i can at least get material to stick to the glass now.
  8. Hello all! I've been having some trouble getting my UM2e to print ABS. I've tried many things to get this to stick to the glass, but every time I print, Cura insists on dropping the nozzle temp to 207C despite the machine being set to 230C. As soon as I hit print, I have to wait for it to cool down. How can I stop this from happening? [Edit: Forgot to mention, I'm printing via USB with RepRap(marlin) setting]
