  1. Hi, I have cura 2.4 installed and it persistently crashes half way through slicing with the statement "curaengine.exe has stopped working". I therefore cannot create printer files. My colleague also has the same problem. We really need a fix fast, as we use it for commercial use. Thanks in advance, Alan
  2. Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I'll try to get away without using the prime tower, and probably have ago with the new software next week. anyone know if I can register for alerts for these kind of updates? And, should I choose to have a go, can you explain how I can make my own prime towers? cheers,
  3. Correction, I make the raft in PVA. I also fixed the initial adhesion problem by setting the prime tower flow to 150% and making an initial layer overlap of 0.2mm. However, i still have the problem that because the PVA does not stick to the PLA, the primed PVA material gets dragged across the print and ruins it. Can anyone help? My suggestion is that a firmware update could be made to have two prime towers, one for each nozzle/material. Thanks in advance of some support.
  4. Hi, I have a ultimaker 3 with up to date firmware. I have a problem with the print tower not forming when I am using PLA and PVA. I currently make a PLA raft for plate adhesion. I have seen many posts about the prime tower falling over after a few cm in height, but my problem is different (at least for now). The first PLA layer is not sticking to the PVA raft and as such, the prime tower never builds. The model its self sticks to the raft without problem, only the quality becomes crap because of the primed material getting mixed up with the model. (i am currently experimenting with increasing prime tower flow...) Can someone help? Thanks, Alan
