One thing that might help is changing the 'page file' on your computer to over 1000mb. Firefox can use over half of it which leaves not much for other programs. When it's full it will overload, freeze the computer and spend several minutes putting it all back together again.

Hi, I have an Anycubic Kossel Linear Plus (230x230x300mm). The software this printer comes with is a very old version of Cura (15.x) and doesn't work with windows 8. I am using Cura 4.0 and have set the printer to "Kossel Pro". The stardard dimensions are 230x230x270. If type "G0 Z0" to go to bottom center (with no bed height 'G29') it goes down 2-3cm from the top. If I type "G29 ___" (G29 anything), to set the bed height... then "G0 Z0" to go to bottom center, it goes down to 2.5cm from the bed every time. Doesn't matter what I enter for G29. Doesn't matter what I enter for the the printer dimensions height. Is there some bed height value that is fixed for this printer? What should I do to get my 300mm height kossel printer working?
