  1. I don't usually need Z-hop to print, but when I do, it's usually only at the upper layers of a model: https://youtu.be/70TnqVvPpo8 How about adding Z-hop support to the "ChangeAtZ" post-processing script? Then I could add Z-hop only to the layers that need it, without needing to use it for the whole model. ❤️
  2. This resolved it for me. Disabling supports resolved it too, but I needed supports, so I had to install the "Printer Settings" plugin from the Marketplace (click on the "Marketplace" button at the top right corner of Cura) and use it to set the "Maximum Speed Z" setting to 10 mm/s. Thanks!
  3. Update: Spoke too soon. Resolving the "Z Hop Speed" error just produced a blank error box upon pressing "Slice", as shown in the screenshot posted by another user above. I had the same problem after upgrading from Cura 4.1 to Cura 4.2.0. The problem is that the "Z Hop Speed" checkbox in the "Speed" settings is hidden unless "Z Hop When Retracted" in the "Travel" settings is checked. (Additionally, the "Z Hop Speed" checkbox must be set to "Visible" in the Setting Visibility configuration page, accessible via the "Manage Setting Visibility..." hamburger menu option). I was initially confused because I wasn't even using Z Hop in my print. Once I checked the "Z Hop When Retracted" checkbox, the "Z Hop Speed" checkbox became visible, and I was able to change it from 10mm/s to lower number (like 5mm/s), and the error was resolved. This is a Cura GUI bug introduced in 4.2.0, I'm sure they'll fix it soon.
