I just started a print with Cura and had an unusual issue. At the beginning of the print, it homed all axis as usual, but instead of moving to start the purge line that Cura does, it moved to the opposite corner and started extruding filament. I thought it was just a new purge feature, but it did not stop. It was also purging far faster than my hot end could handle, with numerous skips and jumps. It was moving at around 1 revolution per second which is A LOT for my hotend on the extruder motor. I eventually had to turn off the printer. I though initially it could be the new octoprint plugin I installed, simplyprint. I tried to start the print using the built in micro sd card without octoprint plugged in, but that didn’t fix it. I had to use my old prusaslicer profile which is not nearly as tuned as my Cura one. It’s definitely the slicer, but how do I fix this?
