I am also a beginner. I discovered that changing the profile settings and saving them (Standard Quality for example) means that you can never get back to the original default settings. Uninstalling Cura and re-installing retains the old changes it seems. Mistakes are bound to happen when learning and now I have sliced projects and I have no idea what profile they were sliced in. If I load a project it will have whatever profile is selected. Unless I noted what profile I had originally used I cannot duplicate the project. I cannot get a listing of the original settings and unfortunately I believed a "Best settings for Cura..." that is anything but. I assumed the original defaults could not be changed, but they can - too easily. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
