  1. I did look at 5.7 pre-alpha and it's a bit too risky, for what i'm doing, but dropping back to 5.4 seems reasonable for the short term. Thanks for the info.
  2. I noticed that since I upgraded to 5.6 that my slicing times have gone through the roof. I have one model that takes over 4 hours to slice on Cura 5.6 on a Ryzen 9 3900x with 64GB of ram and a 1TB NVMe drive. The same model slices in under 2 minutes on Cura 4.13 on an i5 with 8GB of ram and a 512GB SSD. I'm hoping that 5.7 addresses this as the differences are staggering. This is not the only model that I noticed such a large difference in slicing times and it doesn't matter which of my printers I'm slicing for. They are all slow.
