Wel, I think I've found out. The path with the settings I was looking for : /home/$USER/.local/share/cura/5.7/ And in the /home/$USER/.local/share/cura/5.5/ folder, I've found the conf files that needs to be restore. Note : creating a folder with the same name as the appimage ending with .home or .config (e.g : ultimaker-cura-5.6.0-linux-x64.appimage.home) will get this specific folder to be used as /home or ~/.config for this appimage Closing this topic now.

Hi to you all ! I was trying out the beta 5.7 appimage (I was previously using 5.5) when I realized some settings were lost in the process, namely some generic custom profiles, and some of the materials I added myself. - - - # custom profiles : - - - # materials : - - - I can see in my .config/cura folder that I have directories related to each cura version (5.5, 5.6, 5.7). Is this why I've lost these settings between the 5.5 and 5.7 versions ? What is the proper way to retrieve these settings please ?
