What is Sprinter ?
I have read around google a little and just know that sprinter is some form of new hack firmware for the ultimaker, to make it run a lot faster ?
i am probably a million miles wrong, but i would love a clean explanation about what is sprinter ? and how does it effect ultimaker ?

Examples of ultimaker model for Architects.
I am very interested in using the ultimaker to create clean architect concept models.
I am searching at the moment for some good examples of what has already been done.
If anyone has any photos of ultimaker architect models, please share them here.

my question is, what is the benafit to having two fans ?
will this improve the print resolution ?
would this not possible cool down the heated nozzle ?
also, is this latest version tested with the newest ultimaker version ?

i have seen some great photos with ultimakers in blue, red, yellow etc.
is this done privatly by the new users ?
or can this be ordered, when the ULTI guys are laser cutting up the pieces ?

do you think with refinement, the ultimaker could get closer to this quality and resolution ?
what would need to be improved to make this happen ?
(1) better software usage of the technology.
(2) maybe better resin ?

About my excitement about the product and the forum...well i dont think excitement is a bad thing !
not enough people are excited about things...and this technology will change the world, 3d printing is just the next powerful step in the history of manufacturing and construction.
Also about posting.

I have another forum for old history photos and know there is a hardcore group of photo collectors who search my forum about 2 or 3 times a day or sometimes more.
always on the search for some new photos in the sales section or just interested in what people find.
Ultimaker needs that same level of excitment, to get people really interesting and burning for this technology.
The more we can do now, the faster this amazing dream will materialise.

On the ULTI, i always see photos of different wrappings over the plastic punp head (the thingy that shoots out hot plastic)
im not sure what the system is there? why sifferent colour materials in different forms and shapes rapped around the ....(the thingy that shoots out hot plastic) ?

I really had some great fun today surfing the net for what is out there, in terms of decent home use 3d printing.
the funny thing, is there seems to be onle ybout 3 big runners in the under 2000 euro scene at the moment.
But funny enough, there is an army of bigger companies copying the nice simple ideas of for example ultimaker and banging on a few pieces of posh stainless steal, a touch pad and pricing it for 5000 euros.... auch.... :shock:
but this one caught my eye today.
itsounds very interesting.
im not sure about the technology used, but the product seems very good with beautiful resolution.
here are the few links i found.
I would be interested to hear feedback from the ULTI GANG ?

Hi guys here are a few ideas rolling in my head for the forum.
(1) dump the boring top graphic banner as soon as possible. something bright and fun.
(2) setup a section for raw materials and suppliers.
(3) increase anti spambot measures, they really are starting to eat the forum before it starts.
(4) setup a nice little pub section where people can relay and introduce themselves.
(5) setup a section, Talking to Ultimaker Crew. Where you guys have some photos of yourselves and a little more information.
even more links to some cool youtube videos you guys have, i searched google and found some really cool ones.
also users can interact with you guys directly, that will really mak your corporate ID stronger !
(6) section just for new users, ie... me let the started asking the silly questions
(7) allow avatars for users. I wanted to put up a nice irish flag but cant find the option ?
that is my first few ideas.
