  1. i dont know so much about Filabot(like everybody)but iam a proud owner of a filastruder, and it works really nice,as common in 3D printer world its a bit triky to fix and clean process, but when finish that part was really gratefull, with more than aceptable tolerances, right now i only extrude ABS pellets from a local supplyer i buy 25 k and some colorants,be playing and printing for four months now with good resoults, in off to print a lot of pieces.

show you some photos: the green octopus was made with filastruder home made filament and the orange one with premium ABS at 2mm

  2. Hi Sander its the new schedule dates go in on time, or better..?or we have to expect another delay...

Ok i make My own response... Lolol .....Looks like the schedule dates goes faster!!!! Pretty faster just receip the shipping email more than a week before.

Now i cant sleep till monday..;)

  4. Hey! It seems that I have a problem with the endstops, because with OctoPrint it won't let me move left (terminal always says endstop reached), even if I move right some times before.

I hope I get any response from UM according this problem, then I will continue testing OctoPrint!

Dont really think UM have to response about others software, try first to find a solution at octoprint developers forum Google group etc.

All the ways it Looks pretty compatible, i Dont have the oportunity to try with UM2 yet.

  5. good to know the things comes much better for everyone, very good to see a really nice prints like abstract and Naz,that becomes more closer than we expected of UM2.

sure we get a lot of knowledge in few weeks about this machine to push it to the limits.

  8. 260C is the safe limit for the teflon in there. If you want higher temperatures you need to compile the firmware yourself, and you'll most likely risk damaging the teflon. (I have heated up a printer to 500C, which it survived with minor damage, but that was a safety test to make sure your house dose not burn down)

what about print with nylon y really love it, what do you thing about change the limit to 280 or 290 cud be safe in off.

this was going to be one of the first changes on the firmware i want to made.

I have had a ticket in for my new ultimaker 2 with the 3rd fan not working since last friday and no one has responded, i have also posted in this forum for adive and no one from ultimaker has responded ?

I also have the 280C error for ABS

Support for me has been non exsistant on a £2000 machine !!!!!!!

I have also now boxed up my ultimaker 2 and have UPS picking it up today...

You buy from imakr right, why Dont you tell theirs first maybe its an easy/quick option as a resellers theirs must be responsable about the products their sale.

  10. you think is for the firmware and quality control?

I think i understand is just a matter of shipping... and... a lot of shipping...

yes shure, but when we get it, going to be available a new version of firmware and cura as well and the knowledge of the first adopters

  11. Not happy, really, I placed an order for Makerbot 2, since I needed two machine to work in parallel & that was my 1st choice but went with the Ultimaker 2. I have already the older Ultimaker & now this, so its time to compare in real world tests.

will provide updates as I go along, since I'm a little ticked off right now to work on the printer, hopefully another day 7 another better luck :-P

here its some issues to compare as well enjoy the video......

  12. Simmon you must change the name of the post for Final weeks!!!

Just joking. at the end wait a bit more means a more stable firmware, software and a bit polish machine so us experience going to be gratefull than others.
