  1. Hi,

    i'm printing an object that cura told me the U2 should have print in approximately two hours. But now (two hours later)... it still tell me that left two... and the print is almost at the half.

    Cura has committed an error or is something else?

    It could be possible this is not going to happen. I called Ultimaker today since they told me last week on the phone the machine would be send to me by the end of the week(which made sense since I ordered on the 4th of October) and I still did not receive any track&trace info. They told me they send me an e-mail(which I did not receive) that they had new supply chain issues and that my order was scheduled for week 50 now. (Which kind of sucks because I HAD some orders to make in the first week of December...)

     

    I hope you are joking. If what you say is real, this is not a joke, this is a NIGHTMARE. This is exceedingly beyond the conceivable worst case scenario. Whic is the current by the way. This wait is seriously hurting my business plan and for what i see i'm not the only one.

    If things continue this way I will be forced to withdraw the order and request a refund.

    I hope I do not have to go that far and that the ultimaker will do everything humanly possible to comply with the dates already heavily delayed.

    I'm sorry but patience is over.

    io è da un mese (di ritardo delle spedizioni) che sto aspettando la mia U2... Anche io sono di Roma.

    Quello che leggo mi abbatte terribilmente ma visti i vari feedback molti dei problemi segnalati potrebbero essere stati risolti..

    Certo è che questo fantastico supporto tecnico di cui tanto si vantano da più di un mese ormai è assolutamente inesistente. Sono stato alla Maker Faire e come Chelys ho fatto i miei conti e le mie considerazioni e ho anche io sono stato dell'idea che la u2 fosse superiore a tutte. Probabilmente così.. ma la famosa data del 21 Ottobre me la sogno ancora di notte...

    Domani arriverà finalmente la mia settimana... speriamo che vada tutto bene e che si sbrighino perchè aspettare ancora è davvero inconcepibile (considerando poi le promesse di velocizzare la produzione e anticipare le date).

  4. For those waiting, I can mention that I ordered mine on Sept 22 and I got delivered today (should have been yesterday if DHL locally had not screwed up). I got an email from Ultimaker that it had shipped when just had shipped and not days later as has been indicated here.

     

    so you are part of Week 45 (4-11/10-11) 09-22 order date... and they shipped at the end of 46?

    I'm impatiently waiting for week 48 and i hope to be one of the 25-11 shipping.

    That order lasted just too much.

     

  5. I know someone who got an email the moment his UM2 was shipped. My email came 2 days after it was shipped. But I just decided to do a test - I went to DHL and put the "R" number in DHL and it showed my package! So try it.

     

    Can you explain the process?

     

  6. We are working very hard on scaling up the production department. With our current resources the lead time will be as stated above. When the up-scaling can be implemented in the actual production process you will see the lead time decreasing, so it can/will only get better. Hopefully that is a consolation for some.

     

    Ok.

    Another week is gone.

    Now it's time to update the list with new dates.

     

  7. Yes was the Maker Faire Rome.

    Well i don't actually remember the name.. but i talked with a girl about shipping and order time and to another guy about the difference between the original and ultimaker 2.

     

  8. Hey Simmonsstummer, don't freak out.

    Have you read the whole post you mentioned? Only two hours later two people from Ultimaker chimed in and offered to send him a new machine. That's pretty awesome if you ask me. Good luck finding this speed and this level of commtment with other 3D printer manufacturers.

    It doesn't matter how much we want them to ship the new machines. Whatever reason there is for a delay, I am sure it is a good reason. I wouldn't want a fast shippment with a broken machine - do you? Nagging and pressure doesn't make their job easier but only worse. Let go of this zero tollerance thinking. What little do a few days longer matter in contrast to the months and years to come that you will be happily using your Ultimaker 2?

     

    I definetly agree. I've seen the solution in the topic and it's great. It's my ultimaker2-eager-side that was freaking out..not for the problem that as we said it's been smoothly solved but for the time he had to wait again.

    I'll be trustful....besides that, i've chose ultimaker because they inspired me confident at the Maker Faire (place where i went with the decision of 99,9% to take another printer. They take that 0,1% and turned it into 100%).

     

  9. Well, that's something even if not official. But i supposed they have yet calculated the amount of product to produce before the official shipping data (21 October). I can only imagine that all the orders made before that date will be shipped as promised.

    Or at least this is what i hope.
