hi guys, i was thinking:

what if cura could give you the option to choose one layer height for the outer shell and different one for the fill and support.

the resolution is very important for the outside of the model, but not for everything else.

so lets say the head prints in 0.05 res the outer shell, and after 4 layers it prints the fill and the support in 0.2 res.

it can do this !!!

this part was in the left corner when i printed it. the head then move to print another part on the plate, and when it finished and move to home, it knock down the part.

hi, i am a student of industrial design, i got some feedback and idea about the feeder:

the metal feeder eats the material, so i think that ultimaker should make it with rubber like wheel, and also add extra wheel that moved by the material, so the ultimaker 2 know the actual speed of the material and act by it.

they should add speed for support only and material flow for support only

when i printed with slow flow and high speed i got like spider web amazing support, but the model was the same :(

it can do wonders !!!!
