  1. This what it. It was set to generic PLA. Once I chose Ultimaker PLA, I got the settings!!!! THANK YOU!!!!
  2. Is there a place to download standard ones for each nozzle type then by Fine, Standard and Quick etc?
  3. Actually I do not use any plug ins. I have been trying to locate them manually, I am on a MAC if that matters. Most current version of Cura, however this has been probably happening for a few updates.
  4. Thanks. that was not it. This is all I can see.
  5. It seems as if my default profiles have disappeared. I only have 1. Is there anywhere to Download default profiles for nozzles and layer height (fine, medium etc). I used to be able to set it and forget it. I do not have time to figure all the settings out. I just want the ones I used that were default for each nozzle.
  6. VERY FRUSTRATING. Why can I not reset Cura to default settings? Is there a way?
  7. I am printing at the Cura Defaults, and I meant 0.4 nozzle (sorry). See below. As far as orientation, it is the same on the MB (shown below). Temp is not in Cura that I can see, if I hit tune on UT, and select Temp, it is 210C. Odd I can't find temperature in any settings on Cura.
  8. I am new to the Ultimaker, been using MakerBot 2 for some years now. I am trying to print a part that was successful on the MB no problem. However the Ultimaker is having issues. The attached shows an ORANGE Part printer on a MB with "Normal" Settings (No Support, Layer = 0.2mm @ 10% infill). The SILVER Part is off the Ultimaker, No Support, Layer = 0.1mm with 0.6mm Nozzle. Can someone suggest settings where I do not get FALL OFF on NUMBERS and BRIDGE?
  9. I have (2) Makerbot 2's and had a 2X (sold as it was crap). I just bought and recieved a UM2+ today just before I left work. I had time to complete the little robot test print. All went well, setup was easy peasy and can tell the quality is much better. Also much much more quieter when printing. While the test robot was printing, I was messing around with Cura and inserted a part the I have printed many times on the Makerbot and took just over an hour to print with supports. To my amazement the Cura was showing 9+ hours on low, and 48+ hours on high. I did not have any time to mess more with it as I had to leave but I did have time to at least know I was looking at somewhat proper settings. Is there something I'm missing? Why would a similar part print just over an hour on a MB and so much more longer (even at 0.8) n the UM?
