  1. I get those and others... I've tried 2.7 and 3 and have installed and uninstalled both several times.... Ran an update on all hardware and everything is up to date! Have also updated 3 times on Windows.
  2. Well guys, it looks like I need a geek more advanced than me.... I completely wiped out 2.7 and rebooted. Installed the new 3.0.3 version and it "STILL" won't run. Nothing loads not even the start up splash screen. As I said in the beginning, This is a Toshiba Laptop with a brand new hard drive and a 'factory' restore using their restore disks. (OS is: Windows 7 Home Premium) Then did all the updates from both Windows and Toshiba. So some where there's a problem that I can't find.
  3. Well guys, I'm done it all several times over with no luck. But I did notice one thing that doesn't make sense The download file name clearly says that it's 2.7 and that it's 64 bit..... BUT after it's installed it says that it installed the 32 bit version. What's up with that?!?!?!1
  4. Roaming/cura/2.7 was blank... the only folder in there was plugins and that was empty. This is what I found in APPDATA/Local/Cura/stderr Fatal Python error: Segmentation fault Current thread 0x0000027c (most recent call first): File "D:\2.7\build\inst\lib\python3.5\site-packages\UM\View\GL\OpenGLContext.py", line 29 in setContext File "D:\2.7\build\inst\lib\python3.5\site-packages\UM\View\GL\OpenGLContext.py", line 104 in detectBestOpenGLVersion File "D:\2.7\build\inst\lib\python3.5\site-packages\UM\Qt\QtApplication.py", line 71 in __init__ File "D:\2.7\build\inst\lib\python3.5\site-packages\cura\CuraApplication.py", line 205 in __init__ File "D:\2.7\build\inst\lib\python3.5\site-packages\UM\Application.py", line 316 in getInstance File "D:\2.7\build\inst\bin\cura_app.py", line 72 in File "Console.py", line 24 in File "", line 634 in _load_backward_compatible File "", line 664 in _load_unlocked File "", line 958 in _find_and_load_unlocked File "", line 969 in _find_and_load File "__startup__.py", line 12 in File "", line 634 in _load_backward_compatible File "", line 664 in _load_unlocked File "", line 958 in _find_and_load_unlocked File "", line 969 in _find_and_load
  5. OK Guys, Here's where I'm at now. I've downloaded Cura 3 times. (Ver 7) Installed/uninstalled 3 times from 'each' d/l Deleted files and folders as suggested in another post. Changed all the permissions to run in Admin Mode. And nothing works... Cura will not run... not even a splash screen What I'm thinking of trying: Use Windows uninstall then clean out APPDATA/ROAMING/LOCAL of any files/folders left behind. then RegEdit and clear out anything pointing to Cura. then try another install. Anybody got any other ideas I could try?!?!?! Grandpa Bill
