  1. Yeah. I tried bridge mode on top of support but it doesnt do that. Only bridges on top of infill. I know some people had "problems" with cura going on bridge mode on top of supports but that is exactly what i want to do.
  2. Thanks. I know its a bit confusing. The question is basically can cura go into bridge mode while printing on top of a support.
  3. Hi everyone. I am still learning the ropes on Cura and was wondering if it was possible to use bridging and support. It seems like you can only do one or the other. For instance I have an object that has supports for overhangs but when printing it only goes on support mode. Is there a way to also make cura do bridging mode on top of the support for extra straight lines? I don't want to leave a small gap for supports because they are hard to remove yet they are still needed because some parts don't have two columns between for bridging, but that would leave alot of sag where the layers would droop down. BUT I also wish cura would be able to do bridging mode when the object starts printing above the finished support.
  4. I need to edit this. The reason I'm sure at least mine was not adjusting the flow rate through cura was because my printer actually came with an option to tune in the flow directly from the printer. This is on the latest marlin firmware. It was set at 100 percent. So even if i adjusted flow through cura the printer overrided it and set it back to 100 percent. Im just going to adjust this through the printer for now because its printing beautifully now. But if anyone wants to use cura to adjust the flow you'd have to disable that option on the printer first through vs code or whatever program you use then reflash it. If you have the latest version of marlin I'd suggest you check your printer to see if you have the flow adjustment option on your printer. If you do then the value set on your printer is overriding the cura. Hope this helps.
  5. I am having this issue as well. I am using an Ender 3 with the latest version of marlin. I adjusted the flow rate on cura but it doesn't do anything. Even tried adjusting to 60 percent. No change. I found this thread and another pointed out an override issue on per model settings that overrides it. I checked mine and nothing is selected. So this didn't fix the issue. I did however find a knob on the lcd with the latest marlin where you could adjust the flow manually and this is working beautifully. Would like to have cura be able to work as well though.
