  1. Hi, i have been using solex cores on S5 for a few years. The core registers as AA04 even though we use 08 noz. we used to get error 'requires configuration change' which we could override manually, since the latest update we can no longer overide this error message we get 'unsupported printer' and no option to override / start the print. Anyone else get this, or, found a workaround, or, what setting/update have i missed?? thanks in advance.
  2. lol spoke to soon, disconnected from everything again...its happily printing away - says it connected to wireless network etc.
  3. yes visable in ultimaker factory... sent you log file
  4. it disconnects from cloud too lol. doesn't seem very stable at all. only way i can get around it is to keep adding printers..
  5. yes i've tried manully adding the IP still get same error...on mac and windows🤨
  6. Hi, Is cura really bad over wireless with s5? we have to keep 'adding' s5 to cura to get the profiles and it constantly 'loses' connection, i guess we can drill holes and ethernet...but it sits one side of a internal wall next to router...super frustrating!
  7. Hi Torgeir, Result!! Yes we had a closer look and came up with a similar 'fix'... Looks like we need to order new ones and take the machine apart 🤔
  8. that is to say that all the fittings / fixings 'look' normal.
  9. yes the rods nd black blocks are 'snapped' in. the rods / and blocks on the y axis 'swing' freely in fact they swing enough that you can slide the rod out. It is only the two front and back that move like that.
  10. So new to us S5 and it has a knock on the y axis when printing near the middle....we checked alignment, greased / lubed the bars, checked the belts. still the knock every time the head got near the centre line at the front...... SOLUTION!!!!! as the head was moving past the magnets to close the door they were strong enough to 'magnatize' the rod as it moved past making to loud knocks for each magnet! Removing the magnets and we now have quiet machine. link to vid showing the powerful magnets! https://photos.app.goo.gl/mKSWr2T5uTdyWBCEA
