Hi,
why is Ultimaker S5 Pro Bundle no longer selectable in the list on the first page on the website?

Hi Lorenzo,
Yes, I thought to myself that it would not be a huge problem to change that. I'm a big fan of the entire process of Cura and the Digitalfactory and would love to give my input to improve everything. Just write to my company email address: f.holzer@listgc.at

You can interchange the two different metals and keep everything else the same.
Wonderful thanks for asking!🙏

Hey @fabianholzer_listgc,
I doublechecked 316L does not come with our Metal Pack, and Cura does not support dual extrusion with this material.
If you disable your second extruder, your printer will just print a skirt, no shrinkage plate.
You'll have to print your shrinkage plate seperately and include it in your box to be attached by the Debinding and Sintering staff.

This picture is part of the elearning course about Metal Printing.Hopefully this link works for you:

Good luck with your metal print 💪
I'm super curious how it turns out, the boat looks so cute.I cant understand why Ultimaker do not allow to print with 316L and Support Material.
BASF Forward FM writes the following on its website:
QuoteUltrafuse® Support Layer is uniquely designed for FFF printing of Ultrafuse® 316L and 17-4PH ...
Unfortunately your link doesn't work.

Hey @fabianholzer_listgc,
Welcome to the Ultimaker Community 🚀
So cool that you are trying to print with metal!
If I'm honest I don't know the differences between slicing for 316L and 17-4PH.
I'll have to ask around 💪
Do you have the support material, and core that you need for this raft or do you intent to print single extrusion?
https://forward-am.com/material-portfolio/ultrafuse-filaments-for-fused-filaments-fabrication-fff/metal-filaments/ultrafuse-support-layer/Hi,
Yes, i have the support material and the DD and CC cores from the metal expansion kit and wanna print with them. I buyed the 316L separately boefore the metal expansion kit released.
That would be nice if you can ask the differences of the two profiles. If there is not much difference, i just try the 17-4PH profile for the 316L material. So i could use the support material and the shrinkage plate with my ~€500 expensive spool.

Hi,
I wanna print with my Ultimaker S5 metal objects. I buyed 1 spool of Ultrafuse 316L and the metal expansion kit.
When i slice the objects with Ultrafuse 17-4 PH Cura generate a shrinkage plate.
But when i slice the same object with Ultrafuse 316L it only generates a little standard raft.
I've already uninstalled and reinstalled the profile, but it didn't help.
The bigger shrinkage plate is not only necessary for 17-4 PH, is it?
How do I get the shrinkage plate to work with the other material?
I can't change the number with the default raft settings.
Only the height, but that only generates a track with the desired height.
Material station filament change no longer works
in UltiMaker 3D printers

hello dear ultimaker team,
I bought the material station to automate the extended filament change for large prints. This has worked fine for a year now. I've been having problems with the Material Station for the last two weeks. I only use Ultimaker Filament. 98% Tough PLA and PETG. I've already had over a thousand euros in misprints within 2 weeks because the print stops every time the loaded material is empty and the filament is completely removed from the spool. Then the ER59 error comes up and the printer doesn't load the same material to finish the print. No, the printer stops printing and starts the next one. The last 50cm of the filament then remain in the printer and must be removed manually. For a €2000 additional device that should do exactly that, it's a shame if it no longer works after 1 year. That's exactly what the Material Station should do, right?
Does anyone have the same problem or is there a solution to this problem, Ultimaker?
