  1. Correction we have the Ultimaker 3 not S3.
  2. Hi @fbrc8-erin, Thanks for your reply. I have the Ultimaker S3, I thought I saw an Olimex board inside it too. I will go check properly on Monday.
  3. @Enigma_M4 Thanks for letting me know. Still not sure if my situation requires me to change the board, if it is then I will buy this board. Can anyone confirm that this is the only option I have? Thanks
  4. Does anyone have bought an Olimex board from either fbrc8.com or shop3duniverse.com ? If I have to change the motherboard might as well start sourcing it. Thanks
  5. Hi gr5, Thanks for your reply. I burned the img file, you provided, into a 32GB µSD card. Then opened the bottom of the cover of OLIMEX board and inserted the µSD card, then turned ON the system. Nothing happened, just as before no lights, no LCD, only fan at the start. What does this means, should I look further into opening the OLIMEX board and debugging the issue. Or this means some hardware is damaged in the board and I have to buy a new one? @twlum I did try taking taking out the LAN cable and starting it, no luck.
  6. Hi, I have been using my Ultimaker s3 for 2+ years without any issues. Recently I printed a small part and then turned it OFF. When I tried to turn it ON again, after an hour, it won't turn ON. I hear the fan starting and then nothing happens. No LCD, no LED, nothing. I reached out to the seller, they said they can't help me since I didn't buy the "Service Plan". Now it is $500.00 just to determine what is wrong, fixing the printer would cost even more. After going through your forums, I found couple of user who have had faced similar situation. The problems seems to be one of these: DRAM is not working. When it turning it OFF the user had a USB dongle plugged in. WiFi card is not working. For my last print, I used a USB dongle, so I put it back in and then tried to restart, still didn't work. Not sure how to do the other two options. Does anyone knows how to do those? Thanks
  7. After using the PVA I realized how great it is for designing complicated parts. Especially designs where there is hollow cavity inside which is hard to reach from outside. Convinced my boss to buy BB 0.4 hot end and multiple PVA filaments. After using it couple of times, it was very obvious that I can't leave the filament outside as it seems to clog the nozzle. Convinced my boss to another filament and BB 0.4 hot end, within a two weeks it became clogged as well. Now started to take issue of moisture seriously and started to put rice in bags with the filaments and kept them sealed for at least two days before use. Convinced my boss to buy another new BB 0.4 hot end. Right after first print the new nozzle is clogged. Now I have three clogged BB 0.4 hot ends and 4 spindles of PVA and my parts are not done! Is anyone else having these issues with Ultimaker and PVA? How are you unclogging the hot ends? The methods usually seems to be the following: Heat up the nozzle, push and pull a cleaning filament. try to take out the nozzole from the hot end. Is there any other way that I am missing? Thanks Bikram
