  1. Good Afternoon Just a quick question, we have a roll of Carbon fibre and I would like to know how I would be able to use and print with this material and do I need to change any settings like nozzle temp, build plate temp etc. Regards David lyle
  2. Good Morning I have done and sent what you have asked me to do, look forward to the reply Regards David Lyle
  3. I am still having problems, I have tried your troubleshooting, I have updated software to new level. I have also dome the x.y axis and adjusted I have told printer and cura that I have got two AA0.4 nozzles in. I am finding just before its doing the level test before print the nozzles are letter some PLA through, which then throws out and I get same reading. I did the noise level two and it came back at 46.0???? is this correct as I have read the extra troubleshooting and this says its should be below 8.0 ???? Please help as we have not really done much printing on this machine. our 3 and 2+ run fine
  4. Good Morning All We have just purchased a Ultimaker S3, which is really good and I like it, But I am having problems with the self levelling and having to manually adjust and set. I have done this again this morning and it is saying am out on parameters. I find that I upset the levelling systems as I take of printed design of as this has stuck very well. do I need to turn the plate temperature down or am I doing something wrong. Please see picture below - Regards David Lyle

  6. Hi We have a Ultimaker 3 Plus and we have start to have issues with the PLA when it get half way down on a roll. it is jamming due to the coil whining tightly around the wooden spool and this stop the head from carrying on printing. I have temporality stop this by putting the PLA goes clock wise with the spool to unloosen this.
  7. Hi thank you for your replies but I have checked the Enable prime tower" and "Support horizontal expansion and these are not on. I have put the extrud 2 nozzle back to PVA and the tower disappears from the design, but in nozzle 2 we are running PLA as we really struggle with the PVA blocking up and not working properly. The Computer I use has support material set to nozzle 2 but in our work shop they are set to only print with one nozzle even though there is two. I will keep an eye out for it again. when running PLA through the BB08 nozzle I have to over ride it when it starts printing. could this be the problem.
  8. Hi We are using Cura and STL files for printing. if you look at the pictures below, I have a phantom design and support which is making it take longer to print. This is happening on all my past designs, how do I get rid or what to do. Please help. I am using another computer to print not the main computer.
  9. Hi Carlo Please could you quote on the Ultimaker Material Station, this has a built in dehumidifier and the Ultimaker Breakaway material. so if we change material we would need to change the BB04 to a AA04. regards
  10. hi I have now taken the PVA out and now drying for a couple hours, As I have seen bubbles in the material. I have tried the bending trick but is does not snap. I am thinking it is the room temperature and we do not use the 3D all the time. so I will be removing the PVA and warming up twice a week and I have fix the tension and greased the feeders.
  11. Hi We have a Ultimaker 3 and we are using PVA as our support material. I am having problems with Corking and the PVA not coming out of the nozzle either right at the beginning of the print before it starts the design or half way through a print, so I then have to unload and load again, this is happing daily. Does the room temperature have a big part or do we have a faulty PVA roll. Cheers in advance David
  12. Hi Guys Thank you for all your help and now I have reassembled the feeder and now happy printing with the PVA. Regards Dave
  13. Good Morning I need help with the PVA settings etc. We run a Ultimaker 3 and we are having problems with PVA. when we are printing with the PLA and using the PVA as support. The PVA is stopping half way though but the PLA continues printing. Please see attached pictures. Have a got the tension screw to tight and when I listen to the PVA is crackles and pops when its printing. Need advise please. I have recently unblocked the nozzle as well.
  14. Thank you, for all your advice and I have unblocked the nozzle using a thin needle and hot and cold pulls.
  15. how do you un block a BB0.4 nozzle as I think this is block as nothing is coming through and in the feeder box is making a clicking sound as its back feeding. ????????
