How do i connect my printer to laptop via a cable? The sd slot on my printer has defunct and will no longer read STL files Thanks streetsy

Thanks for response Smithy info as follows: my MC is a Prusa CR-10/A10 CR series. because l'm knew to this type of engineering l'm not even sure how to connect printer to Cura software. Although MC seems to function on homing mode ok that's as far as l have got. Hope this helps
