  1. It's not the file I was working on but I think I will try some tests today and see how it works out. Thanks for your help.
  2. Here you go. Thanks again troubleshooting effiel tower material issues.3mf
  3. Thanks for your help. \ Both are enabled based on the image you sent. I tried printing with PVA and PLA and the results was printed only with PLA. I'll have to explore what I am doing wrong. I have a feeling it's the profiles.
  4. Hi, Thanks for the response. I've been doing that but it kinda stopped worked. Maybe my profile settings are set up incorrectly? I can see it's selected but when see the outcome after I slice using the slider on the right, it doesn't show that it is the second filament. Bizarre.
  5. Thanks. I'm trying to figure it out now. Keep you posted.
  6. Hi, For some reason I am a bit confused with the steps of selecting various filament for different objects on the same bed. Lets say I have two stl' files on the build plate and I want #1 to be printed with extruder 1 material and #2 file to print with extruder 2 material. What are the correct steps? Do you right click and select the extruder material? I'm struggling because the per model setting don't seem to work correctly. I have not created new profiles I am using the Ultimaker material profiles in the settings tab. Thanks!
  7. Hi there, I have Ultimaker S3 since January 2023 and I am constantly having first layer problems / extruding problems. I've cleaned the print core heads for both extruders (hot/ cold pull methods ), I have dried out the filaments both PLA and PVA and I when I tried test a first layer results my the extruder doesn't extrude. The PLA is about half done and the PVA is not existent (see images, note: the PLA is on the left and PVA is on the right (no extrusion). I purchased a filament dryer box and have the PLA and PVA spools sitting in the box below the printer as it prints. The filaments we use are the ultimaker brand. Unfortunately, because the NFC reader can't read the spool tag for the material profiles. I have added a generic profile to our organization printer and believe this shouldn't be a problem. Can anyone suggest how I can troubleshoot this? Also, I have turned off the flow sensor tab because it's constantly running error problems. Is this a common issue with Ultimaker S3? Does anyone know how I can extrude filament manual through the printer? I have a prusa and can manually extrude on the keypad. I am wondering if I can do this with the PVA?
